Hi all

Interschool athletics is on tomorrow from 9-3 at the domain. Students from LC1-3 have been selected and a letter was sent home with the selected students last week. The weather is looking dubious at this point, however, please plan for the students to be at this event and we will advise if any cancellations should occur tomorrow morning. 

Selected students will need: PE uniform, hat, drink bottle, rain jacket, sunscreen

This information is pertinent for parents of LC 1 and 2 only.

Hi all

Here's the promised asbestos sand update:

We are currently being tested and will have the results back on Wednesday as to whether there are any levels of asbestos in the kinetic sand. We are informed that the chances are pretty low and the last school tested was negative even though they had the problem product.

However, we will still have to have LC1 and 2 and the verandah's closed and so we are in the same situation as today. Most of you left your children at home yesterday and I would ask that, if you can, you do the same tomorrow ie keep your children home, if you can't: send them to school and we will look after them (but not in those classrooms). We likely will not have the final okay until sometime Wednesday, so be prepared for the same communication this time tomorrow.

If you are keep your child at home, please let the school know through the normal channels eg skool loop.
