Uniform
2 Mar 2026

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to let everyone who is waiting for uniforms know that I have received them. I am hopefully going to process them Tuesday and Wednesday. The students should have them by the end of the week.

RYDA (LC5)
27 Feb 2026

Good afternoon,

Your son/daughter has brought home a permission slip and letter about RYDA - the road user safety programme.

The course next Tuesday at the Showground covers:

Evaluating risks - road, car, people, etc.
Driver distractions
How to regulate your mood when driving
How to stay safe as a passenger, e.g. successfully getting out of a dangerous situation.

In recent years, Totara College has joined other schools in sending students for both Year 12 and 13, as Year 13 students are even more likely to be driving or driven by younger drivers.

Normal classes will not operate next Tuesday and UCOL is aware our students won't be attending (a common occurrence at this time of year).

Please feel free to discuss with your son/daughter your own experiences of road user safety in preparation for the course, and to use the materials attached to the letter.

Please let me know if I can support further or if you have any queries. ????

Blessings,

Carl McIntyre
